Ryan Michael Kelly, Independent Challenger of Israel Firster Herb Conaway in NJ CD-3 Aligns w/ #NJPeaceBlock
Awesome news. Congressional District 3 independent candidate Ryan Michael Kelly will be on the ballot in the November 2026 election. He heard about the Peace Block effort and reached out to this editor.
He is challenging Herb Conaway – one of the #NJAIPACMAGADem5 who regularly back MAGA funding, resolutions and bills when there is an Israel interest. They put Israel ahead of the needs of the citizens and residents of the USA.
Candidate Kelly did not just start opposing war and US support for genocide because he decided to run for office. In recent years he has been a frequent participant in South Jersey protests against US and Israel genocidal slaughter of Palestnians in Gaza. Without trying we were able to come up with 3 pictures of his attendance. One of those he is standing next to the Lebanon flag – demonstrating clearly his opposition to the current escalation of the US war and genocide now targeting Southern Lebanon.
When he heard about the Peace Block effort he reached out to FightBackBetter effort immediately stating that this issue is one major reason why he wants change in Congress. He says that even though both parties are dominated by support for the genocide and aggressive wars by US and Israel, he believes in at least trying and using his political candidacy to oppose war and genocide. Last congressional election, Conaway prevailed by over 30K votes. It is likely that the Democratic Party margin will be wider this year because of the absolute failure of the policies of Trump, the Republicans and MAGA on every count. For those who question why should you vote for a Peace Block Independent candidate who has a very small chance only of success:
Firstly it is a safe vote. Voting for peace against a Democrat who is on the Israel lobby payroll, votes for MAGA initiatives that align with Israel amd is supportive of the US – Israel war against the MIddle East people.
While this editor does not like the safe vote argumenet – I will vote for peace over war in races that are truly in contention but since this one is likely not truly in contention you do not endanger Israel Firster Conaway with a vote for candidate Ryan.
The crisis that the US – Israel Middle East War has placed in the world in imminent danger. As I write this on May 17 Donald Trump is once again threatening tacitly nuclear war upon the nation and people of Iran. Any significant escalation by the US and Israel right now will unleash exponentially worse economic disaster because Iran will punish the attackers across the boatd by taking out infrastructure of all the nations that have participated in the attack on Iran. That is a given result and has been clearly communicated. After that happens – Israel will be on the brink of destruction possibly and it is very likely that US or Israel could retaliate with nuclear weapons inviting a response from Russia and China – it is possible the bombs can be coming here soon and when that happens they will be nuclear.
In the USA we have a duty to the rest of the world to stop the US and Israel from destroying the planet so strengthing the Peace Block electoral clout in NJ and throughout the USA are necessary steps!
