The following transcript of candidate John Hsu’s video commentary about another Democratic Party fail to pass War Powers Act to try to reign in the US – Israel Unprovoked war on the nation and people of Iran and Lebanon and the Middle East region. This is John Hsu running for Congress in the sixth congressional district of New Jersey. I just want to talk about the vote that happened this past Thursday in the House of Representatives on the war powers resolution which would have limited the amount of time the Trump administration could remain in war without having congressional approval.
It would cut it down from 60 days to 30 days. Unfortunately, the vote was 212 to 212 with only one Democrat voting against the resolution and that was
Jared Golden, the congressman from Maine second district. A lot of people wonder why there are always just enough votes for resolutions like this to not pass.
And in my opinion, this was not a very good resolution either. There’s a theory called the rotating villain. So when the Democratic leadership does not want something to happen, they allow one or two or just how many number of Democrats to vote the wrong way so good bill does not pass. In this case, even though Jared Golden was a co-sponsor of the bill, he is not running for re-election. (Editor’s note, this is the 3rd time war powers failed, each time by one vote since US and Israel unilaterally and without provocation launched this first strike war of aggresssion so candidate Hsu’s theory is verified.)
So he is safe from backlash. I’m willing to call out my own party when they’re not doing enough to stand up against war. If you do not want to allow these representatives to be comfortable even

Give him a call on Monday and let him know that you are not happy with his vote no on the war powers resolution.
