SOMA Collective for Palestine has been working in earnest to support an cease fire and an end to the genocide in Palestine since October 2023. (SOMA is an abbreviation for South Orange – Maplewood).)
The vigils have occurred in South Orange and Maplewood occasionally changing the convening site.
The vigil demands an immediate cease fire, an end to US support for the genocide and freedom for the nation and people of Palestine.

Just because western media has completely neglected this ongoing genocide of Palestinians doesn’t mean it is not happening. The U.S. continues to sustain the mass slaughtering, torturing, starving of the Palestinian people by Israel. We demand a ceasefire now. We will not be silenced.
