NJ Driver Shouts Support for ICE – Runs Over Protesters 7/12

Editor’s Note: Of course this editorial board demands immediate arrest and prosecution of the perpetrator of this egregious violent act against our First Amendment free speech rights to oppose ICE terror. The audacity this terrorist behind a steering wheel is making more clear that we need to take our security ot our events more and more seriously. The fault of this attack is on the perpetrator only but from it let us learn how to prevent lone warrior MAGA terroris from having their pychopath swtich go off. On July 12, a peaceful protest against federal immigration policies near the border of Hudson and Bergen counties was disrupted when a driver struck several demonstrators with her vehicle.

The incident occurred in the area between Fairview and North Bergen townships as protesters were crossing the street. A witness who requested anonymity said, “They were crossing the street and this lady was at the light and started driving over them.” According to another bystander, the driver shouted support for ICE before accelerating into the group, despite being stopped at a red light.

The driver’s vehicle and license plate were captured on video. No law enforcement statement has been issued, and the extent of injuries remains unconfirmed.

A local resident who witnessed the incident, said, “I was taking pictures because I saw a group of people peaceful protesting for immigrants… and this lady in the car shouted she loves ICE and then proceded to run them over all while being in a red light so she did this on purpose obviously.”
