Lisa Davis Reports on Her Kafkaesque Experience in South Orange Court
The February 21 South Orange trial for the bogus lawfare charges – local politicians, a prosecutor and police pandering to politically influential constituents with a gratuitous prosecution for the most ridiculous charges was adjourned after a Kafkaesque performance in absurdity by the judge, prosecutor and police. The case was adjourned after about 3 hours of prosecutorial theatre and creative police testimony. The room was packed – close to 70 community members stoically silently staring in disbelief at the mockery of the constitution before their eyes. For now we provide Lisa Davis’s remarks outside the circus tent to give a sense of what our struggle is facing.
The False Charges:
One of the charges against LIsa Davis is that she used sound amplification without a permit. Two police testi-lied the timing that they claimed to witness the alleged infraction by ear and eye – as they drove past in their squad vehicles. Lisa Davis responds to that false testimony as follows:
I can prove that I got there at 3:41 pm. I have an Uber receipt. The officers are LYING! And that proves it. The cop Naturale said he saw me at 3:00 pm using the blow horn. And that other officer said he saw me early in the vigil using it and approximately 40 minutes later using it. – Lisa Davis
The other false charge is that Lisa Davis organized the protest event without a required permit. Under the US Constitution a permit is not needed to gather to exercise protected free speech rights and there is “right of way” for pedestrians near the edge of a vehicle roadway. The police can make loitering accusations if the protesters are standing still and that is why striking workers and other sorts of protests “picket” – or march in a circle – at free speech gatherings. No permit is needed per the US Constitution and many town permit ordinances are unconstitutional. The permitting process is more for if an event needs road closures, traffic control, temporary structures, facilities, assistance from the town. Aside from the constitutional issues – Lisa Davis did NOT organize the protest – she merely attended and no evidence at all was provided to back up this false charge by the police in their testimony. It is a false charge that the police did not even testify to support at all. However the judge refused to kick either false charge after the prosecution rested.
Police Made False Charges on Lisa Davis but Neglected to Charge Provocateur Per Ordinance 300-15
The following are 2 videos from the day of the event that shows a provocateur who attacked the peaceful pro-Palestine protesters and zeroed in on Lisa Davis, the only Black person present at the rally at the time. South Orange is expending 10s of 1000s of South Orange tax dollars to prosecute Lisa Davis on two false charges that even if she had done the accused activities – are protected free speech per the US constitution – but are indeed patently false accusations wielded by South Orange Kafkaesque administration, police and court. They neglected to charge the provacateur according to South Orange ordinance 300-15, which clearly states that “No person shall unreasonably hamper, obstruct or impede or interfere with any demonstration or demonstration assembly or with any person participating in a demonstration.” See for yourself:
LIsa Davis and the supportive community anxiously await for a date to continue the Kafkaesque proceedings as Lisa Davis’s defense has yet to begin.
Lisa Davis and Attorney Joe Fortunato after grueling hours of courtroom theatrics of the Prosecutor, police and judge for false charges and motivated legalist prosecution.

Just as court was ready to go into session about a half dozen pro-Israel came and shouted that we should all be in jail and taunted us with false smears. This editor stood directly in front of them – back to them and was thus subjected to a barrage of insults – much of it vile and with a fixation on anti-LGBT narrative.

The community is watching in aghast the Kafkaesque-pades of South Orange Prosecution, Police and Judge.
Fools on an errand. This editor noticed the prosecutor nodding off in proceedings!
