Super Corrupt NY Rep. Torres (D) Plays Fascist IHRA Card Forcing Expulsion of Ohio Student / Meanwhile Ohio BDS Effectively Fights

When you hear elected Democrats in NJ or candidates or their supporters talk about fascism and the Trump administration – on the one hand you agree with them because Trump goes out of his way to bloviate fascism and the MAGA Trump barkers are all calling for some level of mass slaughter of the American people. It is no lie – Loomer is the perfect example. She calls for feeding 55 M Latinos to alligators and expelling and banning all the Muslims and “crushing” the left. Another example is Trump’s farcical declaraton that anyone against fascism is a terrorist by fiat. There are proposals to likewise classify trans and other LGBT as terrorist. It is incredible to see that the president on down are uniformly calling for massive lethal attacks in every way against the population.
So yeah – it is understandable – Trump wants us to call him fascist and then prosecute us for doing so. We see the same Democrats rightfully calling Trump a fascist, cheering electeds and candidates who support IHRA as if they are very happy for this very wave of absolutely repressive mechanisms to come down upon us it is . We who fight back against US support for genocide – have faced massive repression under Biden and with support of Democrats it is worsening under Trump. Democrats are hip joined in multiplying the repression, It is likely there will be use of lethality against the pro-Palestine and anti-genocide movement in New Jersey and across the nation in the days ahead. Everybody is taking blows.
If you say that we should vote for the Democrats responsible for bringing the mayhem to our lives and subjecting ourselves to legal and possibly physical harm over our views that means that you support our oppression. As James Baldwin was quoted:
“We can disagree and still love each other, unless your disagreement is rooted in my oppression and denial of my humanity and right to exist.” – James Baldwin
Progressives should understand that quote and instead of berating pro-Palestine people for not supporting our own oppression, they should be able to say something like, “Yes, I see, that is a contradiction in our position and I will refrain from asking you to support your own oppressor and work with you to change the views of my candidate.” Instead it is “FAKE NEWS!” “TRUMP SUPPORTER” “WILL BE WORSE UNDER JACK” . . . like there is not even an ounce of analytical thought going on in there.
So lets now use the example of Congressman Ritchie Torres. He illegally used his powers in office to pursue some sort of deranged pro-Israel agenda to try to force a student to be expelled from a college in Ohio! What does wrecking a student’s life over their opposition to the genocide that Torres rakes in $ from AIPAC and God and the Devil only know what other side opportunities are landing in his corrupt lap have to do with his duties to NY State? Nothing! Torres was illegally using his voter granted power in office to destroy someone’s life, Torres performed this fanatic service for his AIPAC client.
According to an Ohio muck rake media site called the rooster, as reported at this Insta posting: An ACLU lawsuit against Ohio State exposed Congressman Ritchie Torres (D-New York) for begging Capitol Police to investigate Buckeyes student Guy Christensen over his pro-Palestinian activism and social media presence. Ohio State then used Congressman Torres’ request as a reason for expelling Christensen for his peaceful activism.
What sort of gangster is Ritchie Torres – a Democrat – using fascist Trump induced IHRA narrative to personally go after a student attending a school in Ohio! He used his influence to pressure police for his personal purpoes. Torres needs to be investigated and removed.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN IN NJ?
What we see is that Torres exploited IHRA narrative for his own vindictive purpose – a Democrat did this. It is clear that the IHRA narrative is already producing a pandora’s box of false accusations. To codify it in NJ will increase smear and damaging libelous attacks like Torres’s against a college student at Ohio State University to try to get people persecuted for their free speech.
One of the proposed IHRA laws in the NJ Senate will empower for IHRA defunding challenges to public schools, libraries, muinicipalities, colleges and univerisities and non profits receiving state funds. The Sherrill campaign has accused Ciattarelli of wanting to defund schools so why would Democrats be working so hard to give Republicans the IHRA tool which if passed they can and will use to defund NJ publc schools. The costs of false accusations and legal offenses for NJ will be in the 10s of millions on the defender side – and that will include public entities falsely accused of anti-semitism because maybe a public worker was seen wearing a keffiyeh or said “FREE PALESTINE” in the office. Ritchie Torres shows us that it is not only Republicans who will be playing the fascist IHRA card!
Let us keep ultimate pressure on NJ legislature saying WE WILL NOT BE SILENCED!
meaNWHILE OHIO BDS IS MAKING STRIDES – A MODEL PERHAPS FOR ALL STATES
The success of the BDS efforts in Ohio could have been a motivator of Torres illegal pressure to harm a student there. AIPAC is no doubt aware that the Ohio movement is having success so perhaps it activated one of its assets to expend his poltiical capitol for a personally motivated vendetta – he should be forced out and probed for this. However the US government is thoroughly corrupted and throughout the history of the AIPAC Bloc. The AIPAC Bloc is a silent super majority party that supersedes the D vs. R squabbles that we are force fed. No doubt the pro-Israel operatives come up with all sorts of little requests for their hired guns in congress to carry out to further influence over every aspect of life and politics in the United States. We do not need those tentacles forcing silence and harm and control over NJ politics!
Those tentacles are real indeed as 250 state legislators – 5 from each state – recently participated in an AIPAC funded trip to Israel for almost a week of classes on how to implement IHRA and BDS prohibition at the state level – an operation called Fifty States – One Israel.
