Pro-Israel Josh Gottheimer if Governor will send Cops after the Palestinian Supporters
The pro-Israel news outlet Jewish Insider has quoted Josh Gottheimer calling for a police crackdown in NJ ostensibly attacking the 1000s of NJ residents and citizens of all ages, creeds, ethnicities and nations of origin who are opposed to the ongoing genocide being carried out by Israel which Josh Gottheimer supports. Josh Gottheimer is apparently making the elimination of our protected First Amendment free speech rights a key theme of his attempt to impose fascism on NJ as what he hopes to be, the next NJ governor.
He recently voted in the first round fast track for HR 9495 to give Trump fascist powers to summarily and unilaterally accuse pro-Palestinian non-profit groups of being “terrorist” as a means to destroy organizations that provide education, support and assistance to groups with kin targeted by US support for genocide in Gaza and the West Bank and Lebanon. The fascist law he backed would also be used to penalize colleges that do not take fascist action against student groups opposing Israel policies as well.
It was not too long ago that the Democratic Party – before the elections – was telling us to unite with them against Trump fascism. Now, Gottheimer and many other Democrats are per usual uniting with Trump and the Republicans to subordinate the interests of the American people to the genocidal demands of Israel – be it for endless arms or funds to provide Israeli citizens government support for education and healthcare that we in the United States are denied or for Israel’s demands that United States make it illegal to criticize Israel under the false and fraudulent premise that it is “anti-Semitic” to oppose the genocidal policies of Israel and its occupation of the Palestinian nation.

Announcing his bid for governor of New Jersey on Friday, Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ) pledged to crack down on antisemitism, indicating he plans to bring his advocacy on the issue from Capitol Hill to the campaign trail in the Garden State.
“We can’t attract more families and jobs to our state if families don’t feel safe — in their homes, in their neighborhoods or even in their cars. We need more cops on the beat and more community policing,” Gottheimer said in a speech announcing his entry into the race. “And let me add: We need to bring the full force of the law against the antisemites who are harassing Jewish or any other communities all over this state.” Jewish Insider
On twitter, Gottheimer stated: “We need to bring the full force of the law against the antisemites who are harassing Jewish communities in Jersey.”
This news editor used the opportunity to ask Gottheimer on twitter to define his terms. Many in the pro-Israel camp believe that even having negative thoughts about Israel makes you not only anti-Semitic but you could end up being called a nazi and a terrorist. If you offer sympathy for Palestinians you can be categorized as a “Hamas supporter.” Netanyahu when the ICC issued arrest warrants for him and his genocide partner Gallant, referred to the international law enforcement action as “anti-Semitism.” It is the go to accusation used to defend Israel and try to hold it harmless for responsibility and accountability for some of the the most depraved acts in human history. The following are some of the questions that I put to Gottheimer – I do not expect answers. We know the answer – that anything that suggests that Israel is wrong, genocidal, an occupier, an apartheid sytem, anything that calls for action to hold Israel accountable or any effort that aims to cut off the US funding that is the main reason that Israel can get away with all of its depravities, is anti-Semitic. And Gottheimer wants you to vote for him and he promises he will send the cops after us!
