This message goes out to the 2/3 of NJ Assembly members (and probably same in the NJ Senate) who are the gung ho for Israel trying to stop the people of NJ from having the right to express opposition to US – Israel genocide and other depraved policies without risk of being smeared as anti-Semitic – with legal, professional, reputational, disciplinary and possibly lethal physical force consequences. Yes Democrats have been tripping over each other to express their support for IHRA in NJ – which would make the lives of millions of us illegal.
To be clear, Trump started the IHRA nonsense as something to write laws about – with the help of pro-Israel lobbyists and advocates. But now in NJ it is the Democrats that have led the way in this regard, albeit with about 80 % Republicans on the bills as well. But Trump has all kinds of illegal and patently fascist orders against people that disagree with him and calling us terrorists accordingly – worded according to the same IHRA formula. Trump has equated 10 opinions (NSPM-7) as terrorist as well as ANTIFA. The same basic narrative.
And now what! Rep. Johnson has called the No KIngs rallies terroristic, ANTIFA and HAMAS.
Just like the Democrats saying we are anti-Semitic for our opposition to US support for Israel genocide and terrorism, the MAGA psychopaths now call the Democratic Party oriented No KIngs rally pending on October 18 across the nation Terrorist, ANTIFA and HAMAS and meanwhile Trump is threatening to use the full force of the Pentagon to practice war in US cities and to go after some internal enemy -usually its the “radical left” or “ANTIFA” but sometimes transgender, people who are irreligious or critical of the racist roots of the United States, against ICE, supportive of LGBT – all of it according to NSPM – 7 – trump signed an order saying we are terrorists.
This is the same exact medhodology of the Democrats with the IHRA laws in NJ! Now you are HAMAS too! You are part of the falsely accused of anti-Semitism – AS YOU TRY TO PASS A LAW DOING THE SAME EXACT THING to millions of NJ citizens and residents!
The Kafkaesque irony is rich. Are we all all supposed to get your back now and defend you as you collaborate with the Trump-ian IHRA fascism and hand us off to an outlaw regime that is sending people without charge to death camps in what are reputed to be the most brutal throes of the planet – not to mention the US prison and ICE detention gulag – or should we just say concentration camps – or is THAT antisemitic to say per some IHRA twist?
Do you want us to cry for you and worry if Trump is going to brutalize you – like pro-Palestinian protesters have been for the past two years?
You turn your back on the genocide – you vote to fund and arm the genociders while we do not have health care – and you make laws to try to stop us from fighting your policies and now you fall under the same false Kafkaesque and fascistic narrative that you are anti-Semitic and terrorist because you disagree with US policy! Welcome to the club but let me say this:
If you support IHRA you better keep your mouth shut about this because this is exactly reaping the terror that you have sowed and now the pendulum is swinging your way – you need to get off the IHRA bill if you want any sympathy.
I always say to get the backs of others because it could be you next but what about when the others are also coming for you as it is the case for this FightBackBetter editor.
