Bringing No Complicity NJ Message to Princeton NO KINGS Protest
I was completely accesorized and geared up making a powerful fashion statement at the Princeton No KIngs protest with probably 1000s of participants. I carried a sign protesting NSPM7 and QRs for information, zoom launch meeting (7pm 10/19 if you read this before) and committee sign up.
I was rocking my HANDS OFF VENEZUELA t-shirt pulled out of my closet from our 2019 efforts to defend Venezuela from attack last time Trump controlled the Whitehouse, as well as defense of the Venezuelan Embassy which was surrounded by CIA backed Venezuelan violent gangsters as peace activists held on behalf of the Venezuelan people.
I was wearing a Red-Black-White-Green style keffiyeh and a Palestinian flag draped around my shoulders.
I came with a message trying to raise awareness about serious harms that could impact all aspects of protest of Trump’s reign of terror including the NO KINGS elements of Trump opposition. Trump minions for days have been falsely smearing NO KINGS protests as terror supportmg, HAMAS supporting, ANTIFA, planning violence and anti-American. These are all false smears similar to the topics listed in the NSPM7 narrative that intends to bring military and police attacks and legal and every other kind of harm to us based upon our protected First Amendment Free Speech and thoughts and ideas.
Oddly as I arrived there was a line of NO KINGS protesters along 206 at the edge of the rally. As I intended to use my participation in this event to educate people about NSPM7 and invite opposition, and participation in our efforts – GETTING ALL OF OUR BACKS – there was a group of about 5 NO KINGS protesters who themselves were not big supporters of free speech:
They started chantting “Peaceful protest” as if someone trying to protect their speech was a threat. They moved away from me and I moved away from them. That was a dangerous move and they falsely were doing to me what NSPM7 intends to do to them and all of us – falsely smearing me as a threat of possible violence for trying to use my free speech and takl to them about NSPM7 dangers. It reminded me of the videos of a bunch of gangster cops beating upon a prone victim as they shout “stop resisting” – same method of false accusation.
(If Indivisible is teaching their ranks to chant PEACEFUL PROTEST in the face of anyone who voices an opinion in conversation at these rallies that they find disagreeable – it is a troublesome aspect of their methods.)
There were others that were disinteresed in my information but 100s of people I spoke with expressed concern, took the QR codes and promised they would research further. I was able to recruit at least 2 to attend the launch meeting and another to sign the NO COMPLICITY NJ unity statement. Many thanked me and cheered as I danced thru the crowd when they had music toward the end.
I tried to video a legendary presentation by David Hanson Schraeger for Resistencia en Acción NJ but i messed up and didnt have it started – it was a really great presentation and I ‘fought’ my way to the front to get to do it – and I messed it up!
David Schraeger raised an anti-war message at the end of his presentation calling out both Democrats and Republicans for funding Trump’s announced covert regime change war on Venezuela. As he completed I shouted Venezuela 3 times and showed the front sitting part of the crowd my HANDS OFF VENEZUELA t-shirt eliciting cheers on top of the ovation David received.
After the rally ended, I drove out and when I exited past the event the streets were lined with enthusiastic folks that wanted to continue (we should have marched up 206!). I held the sign and draped the Palestinian flag – MOST of those lining the streets cheered and they were chanting Free Palestine!
Let folks know that the dude that is trying to get the NO KINGS protester’s back from NSPM7 was donning the RED and the BLACK and the WHITE and the GREEN!
