#NJICEBreakingNews N. 15: NJ ICE Terror Escalates, NJ Dems Fail to Protect, Community Response Our Only Protection
NJ ICE terror is escalating across NJ as is the opposition and organizing of the community responders. Momentum and opposition is building across the state. NJ Democrat politicians after they sabotaged their own Immigration Trust Act bills with outgoing Murphy’s vetoes, are scrambling to make it look good as they turn their back on the direct complicity of NJ police departments with Trump’s National Security Presidential Memorandum – 7 directives which command through the FBI station in Newark the Joint Terrorist Task Force of our state and local police to make cases against us if we disagree with MAGA on 10 opinion categories.
Mikie Sherrill is endangering the state by setting up a portal and asking people to submit videos of ICE to the portal. It will devolve into a snitch submit line and even well meaning contributors of evidence will end up victimized with prosecutorial action – as will the ones they think they will be protecting – the community responders and the immigrants themselves. The videos you submit will help make cases against immigrants and supporters and Trump’s DOJ will have full acccess to the videos to make NSPM-7 thought police cases. They will call us “domestic terrorists” after they leave us blieeding.
There are some reports of the local ICE activity. However it is not exhaustive. We are exploring a Media Cloud app to see if we can pipeline the news reports better – stay tuned!
We feature today a proposal for regularly scheduled support rallies in communities that are being subjected to escalating ICE terror. This can give the response teams more options and cover more ground – the support rallies can then disperse – those with more time – into support and training operations and information sharing efforts. The national section has the usual mayhem – ICE drawing weapons on a unarmed citizen civilian, a Trump supporting student running over with his vehicle draped with a Trump flag – a fellow student – 17 year old girl who was participating in an ICE walk out, lots more violence and harms and peoples fight back!

Seth Kaper Dale reported on 1/31 on Facebook that ICE was all over New Brunswick and was calling for people to come out – we probably should designate weekly mobilization sites in cities being attacked – with flexibility to change the sites – so that we can begin mass engagement in Street Response. Trainings can be conducted at the convening sites.
