NJ Says Resounding NO to Warehouse to Death Camp Conversion in Roxbury NJ this past Monday. Then on Wednesday there was a false announcement that the deal went through – which was walked back by ICE only to be reannounced today, Friday, February 20, 2026.
Fascist death camp profiteer Sean Dalfen has sold a warehouse to be used as a death camp to ICE located in the heavily MAGA controlled Roxbury Township. While Roxbury passed a weak non-binding resolution expressing polite opposition to the facility – mostly over concerns of the blood that will run through their sewers – Roxbury officials and the local attorney have waffled at council meetings as if they are powerless. They have not allocated funds for a legal fight which suggests that there is no interest. The attitude of the council has been “while we support Trump we just do not want the facility in our neighborhood” – demonstrating total lack of spine and total acquiescence to the harms that will now come to Roxbury,
In addition to the huge rally in Roxbury this past Momday there were also many 100s of people marching through Lndewold after young students ran for their lives when they got off the school bus and saw ICE making terror moves in the community – and in Jersey City – as high school students continue to walk out across NJ.
FightBackBetter Responds to Patch Report of “Legal Services” Only @ Roseland ICE Operations Base
On February 19 the Patch of Newark has tried to carry water for the renter to ICE of a terror operation facility in Roseland – echoing claims by the property manager that they would be doing only “legal support” at the building. Firstly ICE does not do “legal support” at all – lawyers participate in ERO – Enforcement Removal Operations. They are part of the operation. The ICE model is for the lawyers to embed with ICE stations and sub stations.
FightBackBetter suggests that readers disregard the false narrative of legal services being provided by ICE out of their offices – ICE knows no bounds and trespasses into hospitals, schools, churches, private businesses, restaurants, public space, anywhere and everywhere – bninging its violent operations to our faces no matter where we go but we are supposed to believe the Patch telling us that they will not use their own office for such operations!
Permanent infrastructure for massive repression against 10s of 1000s of NJ residents and citizens is being built into NJ for the only purpose to bring harms to everybody in our communities. Our entire state is being placed under permanent war footing as if occupied by a domestic terror state operation. We need this undestanding to completely reveal the actions we must take next – some careful reflection at this moment of NJ history is in order!
It is probably to the point that nothing short of a statewide uprising including strikes, protest, downtown city occupations is needed to even have a chance to turn things around. Things are bleak and our next moves are critical. #MAGA is coming for us with harm, death, violence and threats of death camps. The Democrats are acting as if they want to help but sabotaging NJ’s fights.
