Monty Cops Still on the Case
The false felony bribery accusation is still under investigation by Montgomery Police – it is not simply waiting for the OAG to decide my fate – will I be falsely indicted for a false felony based upon the false police actions started by the Montgomery Police Department. The key role that the Montgomery Police have played – has nothing to do with the conduct of the officer at my door – he was fine. He told me why he was there and properly left when I told him I was not interested in a conversation.
When I met a cop and spokesperson for the Montgomery Police whose name I did not get – but I recorded the video (viewable here) – he said that he had not viewed the original video that led to the false accusation. But police are not required by law to tell the truth. When I asked how many Montgomery Police officers had viewed the video he said he did not know. I do not know who this officer is and if he is ranking but if so and he did not view the video as he claimed – then he allowed someone to be accused of a felony for protected free speech activity without oversight. If he did see the video – he lied – there is nothing illegal about police lying – it is an investigative strategy. Presumably though at least one police officer saw the video and there was a decision by Montgomery police and I would conjecture likely engaging Montgomery Prosecutor, Montgomery Counsel and Montgomery Administration including Mayor and Committee. That can only be proven in discovery. But somebody here in Montgomery looked at protected free speech activity and said – yeah – that’s bribery – lets send this to county.
They did not say – “this politician is an idiot if he thinks that we will help him frame a resident who pays taxes to support a new local police station and all our salaries with his false smear of the felony accusation of bribery. ” No they sent it to county!
Interestingly – Montgomery Police routed my phone call around the Records Administrative Police worker. I had called about 10 times Friday and once yesterday (Monday 4/7) am – leaving a message once on Friday and in the first call Monday. The receiving voice was that of the administrator and not a police officer – the one whose number is listed for handling police report information.
She stated to me yesterday that she was in the office Friday and did not hear the phone ringing nor did she receive the voice mail messages. She stated that it was curious because she would get an e-mail if there was a voice mail and she did not. I only got through to her yesterday by calling the police number and the cop put me through – probably recording the conversation. The administrator stated she is not aware of any bypass procedure for phone calls but she might just be told to say that.
What confirmed that it indeed was a phone number screening situation is today I got a call from a cop who said he was returning my call which means my call to the records person whose voice was on the ogm went to this cop. I left no message for any cop – only for the admin records handler. He did confirm that the report is stilll unavailable and he tried to wash his hands from Montgomery decision to send this to county. I would think they would be embarassed by now.
I am not suggesting a conspiracy – no expert but my guess is phone screening technology is pretty advanced and a desired feature for a police department to have and probably other applications in business and administration.
But the fact that my phone number is routed is unusual and would suggest that I am still the subject of investigation.
It is not just “held up by OAG” as the cop said (remember they are allowed to lie) but there is an ongoing investigation probably at 3 levels, Montgomery, Somerset and OAG and apparently Montgomery Police are still so bad at understanding protected free speech law and the Constitution that they have not said to their partners that this whole situation is contrived and they want it over! As a matter of fact – they should issue a statement today publicly that states it!
