As Congressman Gottheimer quietly spearheads a campaign to extend the ban on UNRWA funding, he is coming to Morris Dems HQ for a breakfast fundraiser this Sunday. Gottheimer believes that “it’s time for UNRWA to disappear.” This is a death sentence for 2.3 million starving, injured and traumatized Palestinians in Gaza who are dependent on this assistance to survive, and the end of accountability to Israeli crimes.
As Jews, we believe that what fuels anti-Israeli sentiment is not UNRWA, but the occupation, ethnic cleansing, and genocide of the Palestinian people being perpetrated by Israel with U.S. funding and weapons.
