Asw Drulis: “No one is arresting you. No one is calling the police. You have every right . . .” Me: Accused of Felony by Drulis Partner Freiman – see suggested actions for Asw Drulis
Hey Mitchelle Drulis, here are the words:
“While I disagree with Witanek’s view on IHRA and believe he is stylistically ineffective – nothing he did equals bribery. I regret that this campaign has accused him of this and I did not participate with Roy Freiman in making this accusation. I express to the Office of Attorney General that this has gone too far and that the accusation of bribery should not result in any charges on Witanek.”
You can throw some insults in there if you want. But as of right now we can only assume you are 100% behind Roy Freiman’s false smearing libelous slanderous – and lying – accusation of bribery against me.
It is clear that the two of you think you are beyond reproach. Nobody is allowed to criticize you or else your campaign will accuse them of a felony. You want total impunity for the policies you support – including the fascist IHRA bill. Those laws if passed will have similar Kafkaesque affect on your future legal victims as this editor now experiences with the legal harm your campaign’s false accusation has brought to me.
You told me at the Baguette on March 14 : “No one is arresting you. No one is calling the police. You have every right . . .”
My answer, Mitchelle: Your partner made a police report accusing me of a felony – “bribery” – do you support that? You have been silent – not that there has been any media demands for explanation – they are silently complicit including Montgomery News.
Do you think I was trying to bribe you?
Do you believe it is illegal for voters to leverage their votes for policies they support and against policies they oppose?
Should constituents be afraid to approach you and Roy or else you will accuse them of a felony?
At first I thought this was going to blow over but apparently it developed political wings from Montgomery to Somerset County Prosecutors office – maybe you and Roy have some influence over there huh? And they sent a hail mary pass to the Office of Attorney General. And it is still there and the police report is not released.
So I am literally in danger of facing a felony – “nobody is calling the cops” – you did call the cops.
You can be an adult and stand on your own two feet. You do not need to let Roy drag you down. In the end it could surface that the criminal actions are on your side to bring false charges and use political connections to bounce them to the top at OAG which your party controls. According to Roy it started with:
“Assembly Democratic General Counsel Nicole Brown, who told him that because Witanek was offering him something in exchange for action on legislation, he should create a public record. ” Politico
Were you also involved with the early effort by NIcole Brown? We will explore in another article Brown’s precise role since as part of any thorough investigation of a misdeed all of the participants roles have to be fully disclosed and clarified.
RECOMMENDATIONS TO MITCHELLE DRULIS
- Did Roy Freiman consult you about the fraudulent complaint he made against me? If so – I would not double down on it for now. It is not going well for me of course and that might bring you and Roy joy but it probably is not going to end up well for him either. You can double down against me and embrace the fraud or you can distance yourself by publicly disagreeing with his horrible decision to falsely accuse me of a felony.
- Taking the above further you can actually publicly call for the Office Attorney General to abandon the attempt to falsely charge me and call upon your partner to join in doing so.
- I would recommend that you remove your name from IHRA. It could increase your chances in the primary.
- It is possible that you or Roy Freiman might get knocked out by the primary challenger. One way to assure that you are nominated would be to decouple from Freiman (and remove yourself from IHRA and publicly proclaim opposition). Those moves would guarantee your nomination and you can release whatever baggage you are now burdened by due to Freiman demonstrating that anyone who disagrees with your campaign should be charged with a felony.
I am not sure exactly the NJ law about this but once your ballot slots are approved you might be able to swap out for a replacement candidate – I believe there is provision for that in general or was and might be in the primary. You might consider asking Roy to exit and see if you can find a more appropriate candidate not tainted by trying to set up a constituent and political challenger with a false felony charge.
Those are my suggestions – not bribery – sincere recommendations as to what is best for your immediate political consideration.
