FightBackBetter condemns with all of our power the outrageous misuse of power by Pam Bondi, US Attorney General, in Trumping up charges against Lamonica McIver over her attempts to serve NJ’s communities when she demanded to inspect the Delaney detention camp that has a history of abuses of immigrants.
The situation was obviously manipulated to conjure up this false arrogant smear against McIver and as a brush back pitch to elected officials that they might risk their political careers and even their freedom by standing up to the Trump Administration. The charges are a joke and we expect that Lamonica McIver’s defenders will be able to bring about a not guilty verdict – or perhaps even for the judge to toss the charges summarily. But it is imperative that a broad convergence of efforts are needed to push back on these attacks on our democratic rights to assemble, demand and speak truth to power. Everyone who has capacity is urged to participate – even if you do not always agree with the person under attack on every matter.

Meanwhile though ALL OF NJ is under a severe threat from National Security Presidential Memorandum 7. It literally could lead to military action against us because we have political opinions on one or more of 10 topics that are disfavored by MAGA. FightBackBetter with many solid NJ community organizers has just launched NO COMPLICITY NJ to urge NJ to prevent its police from putting NJ names on the secret so called “Domestic Terrorist” list.
Rep. McIver you obviously understand the Kafkaesque justice that has led to your bogus prosecution so you might be the congress member most equipped to grasp the insidious, illegal and dangerous nature of the NSPM7 operation.
Corrupt Pam Bondi, responsible for Rep. McIver’s prosecution is tasked by Trump with requesting data and support from police forces across the nation to put together the “domestic terrorist” list based upon the NSPM7 subjective criteria attempting to criminalize our protected free speech and thoughts and ideas and activities. The requests are likely already circulating to NJ police departments. OAG Mathew Platkin was informed on October 12 and Rep. Mikie Sherrill was informed on October 13. There has been no action by OAG.
Our call is for OAG Platkin to handle the NSPM7 illegal – literally conspiracy to commit mass murder by the military based upon our points of view – the same way as ICE is handled. NJ police must be directed by NJ OAG not to cooperate or support any requests or demands from US DoJ regarding the patently illegal and unconstittutional NSPM7. This action is needed immedaitely before the names of NJ citizens and residents start getting sent up.to the Trump administration for harms, possibly lethal, from a false “domestic terrorist” secret labeling.
There has been little outcriy at all in Congress or the US Senate. Rho Khanna has mentioned it. To her credit. US Senator Elyssa Slotkin has taken a keen interest, perhaps motivated by her intelligence background – she understands the dangers apparently. Watson-Coleman to immediately reach out to US Senator Elyssa Slotkin to get more background and do additional research – we have some links below with information as well. This is not an issue that can wait for later – the longer you wait the more likely our names are getting added. Everybody we notify is on public record of having been notified so if there is carnage – investigations can occur as to who could have acted and who are guilty due to silent complicity.
