Speak Out for Human Rights, Sun 9/7 6:30 pm, New B
From Seth Kaper-Dale:
SPEAK OUT FOR HUMAN RIGHTS
SUNDAY 9/7 6:30 PM
MONUMENT SQUARE NEW BRUNSWICK NJ
Friends in Central NJ,
For as long as I’ve been a pastor (24 years+) Jean Stockdale has been driving me and the Reformed Church of Highland Park and in the direction of justice and compassion. Jean’s faith leads to loving actions, and her faith has been contagious. Whether it has been in the creation of Who Is My Neighbor Inc, or Churches Improving Community, or Anti-Trafficking Work, or Immigrant Supports (Sanctuary and such) Jean has always been one of our most important leaders and teachers.
On Sunday of this week (September 7th) at 6:30pm, we are holding “Speak Out for Human Rights” and it is an event conceived by Jean as a way for all of us, collectively, to take a stand concerning the issues that matter to us as a people in this particular moment in 2025. This is not a political event. This is about what we stand FOR and who we stand up for!
I would encourage as many people as possible to show up at Monument Square in New Brunswick, at 6:30pm, to hear a list of speakers share for 3 minutes or less about the human rights that matter most to them. Do you have a human right that you want to highlight? Do you wonder if it will be included? Message me if you want to see if the issue is being highlighted already.
Peace, Seth
