South NJ Green Party Will Hold First Chapter Meeting on 12/4

New Jersey’s Green Party ran a slate of candidates in all 13 NJ Congressional Districts and Senate in the past election. This was a major success for the party, and allowed them to put down roots in every part of New Jersey. The Greens in most districts were the only genuinely anti war and pro Palestine candidates on the ballot, and they were able to build a powerful grassroots movement behind them. In some districts, other pro Palestine candidates stood aside to avoid dividing the vote.

Now, with the election over; the Green Party is hoping to organize chapters all over NJ. To this end, a group of candidates and activists will be holding the first meeting of the South NJ Green Party on Wednesday December 4 from 6:30-8:30. The meeting will review the Green Party bylaws, organize the election of chapter officers and begin to develop a plan for the chapter. The goal in the long term is to develop from regional chapters towards county chapters covering every county in NJ. Further details available in the flyer below:
