I invite you to join this effort – we are reaching not only the elected officials but the public and the press with the tweet effort.

This link is also being e-mailed to 100s of journalists and will also be e-mailed to the Assembly and Senate Democrats and time permitting republicans – a process that has begun.

DIVERSITY OF PRESSURE TACTICS

It is understandable that some might disagree with the tact that I took laying out the political repercussions for this DeSantis like draconian measures by the Democrats to outlaw talking about the genocide operation their counterparts in DC are orchestrating in an election year. There can be different pressure points – including trying to reason with them about free speech and explain to them the logical fallacy of conflating Israal and Judaism and defining anti-Semitism as not liking Israel. They need all of the pressure points to be made. I also think the twitter campaign is more public facing – with media and public attention possible. All of the work is important and when we win we win together.

The New Jersey State Senate is moving to pass S1292, a bill providing legislative intent to use the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) working definition of antisemitism that equates criticism of the state of Israel to antisemitism.
