Thousands of students across NJ are in the streets, walking out of high schools (in compliance with school discipline rules and facing agreed upon consquences at some schools – not in an unruly way) across the state of NJ and sending a clear message that the elders of political power had better heed. The student walk outs are a mass appeal to reason to the stalwarts of both the Republicans who are allied with the murderous intent of Trump against NJ and the Democrats who are doing everything possible to fail in providing defense of NJ including intentionally blowing up the Immigrant Trust Act with vetoes of the two most important bills by outgoing Governor Murphy. In order to give the youth their due this report is an attempt to capture documentation of as many of the student rallies as possible. On Friday, Feb. 6, between 9:28 a.m. and 10:31 a.m., approximately 500 students walked out from the East Gym in protest of Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) actions across the nation.
