DEMAND THE IMMEDIATE RELEASE OF JERSEY BASED LABOR ORGANIZER CHRIS SMALLS BY ISRAELI AUTHORITIES NOW!
Labor organizer Chris Smalls has been taken into custody by Israeli authorities and been brutally beaten!
Chris, from Elizabeth New Jersey and who is best known for his recent efforts to unionize Amazon workers in Staten Island, was on an international humanitarian aid mission known as The Freedom Flotilla, an international collaboration by human rights forces from around the world, to ship humanitarian aid to the starving in Gaza. The aid that this Flotilla was seeking to deliver, the second or third flotilla effort, was food and child supports when their ship was stopped by Israeli Defense Forces.
Chris, the only African American participant, appears to have been racially singled out for the abuse he faced, according to other participants.
There has been no word from Israeli authorities as to what will happen next to this promising young organizer!
We must assert our collective outrage and demand the immediate release of Chris Smalls and end the blockade of Gaza so humanitarian supports can be given and save lives!
