Because of my reporting I am now under investigation for “terrorism” in two countries/ I can face up to 40 years imprisonment in the UK plus another 2 – 5 years if I do not give them my passwords. Another 10 years of prison in Austria and my residemcy potemtially being revoked. And why? For journalism. Because of my reporting. This is disprorportionate state violence. This is not just an attack on me. This is an attack on the entire profession . . . on freedom of speech . . . on Democracy itself. They are denying my human rights to free speech.
