Iran Retaliation Imminent – Israel Hit Iran First – Let’s Not Get it Twisted. USA Stay TF Out!

On 1 April 2024, an Israeli airstrike destroyed the Iranian consulate annex building adjacent to the Iranian embassy in Damascus, Syria, killing 16 people, including a senior Quds Force commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Zahedi and seven other IRGC officers.

Now the US has issued a travel warning for Israel and believes that a retaliatory attack from Iran to the recent attack on the Iranian consul in Syria.

There have been reports of back channel comms between US and Iran – with US pleading with Iran not to hit US assets in a retaliatory strike. US has also recently floated the idea of a willingness toward conciliation with Yemen’s Houthi. There have been reports that Iran had offered to forego a retaliatory strike all together if Israel and US were to sign a permanent cease fire agreement and forego the planned invasion of Rafah.

The US on the other hand just pirated a whole ship full of armaments Iran was trying to send to its Houthi allies in Yemen and the US is sending the weapons to its Ukraine allies for use in its war with Russia.

So it sounds like the back channel failed and the stops are all out – and it is wait and see for Israel and the USA.

We here need to be clear – what Iran does is a retaliation to Israel aggression so there is no need to “defend” Israel since Israel took the offense – aiding Israel at this point means piling on with Israel’s attack on Iran. Israel knew the consequences of such a brazen attack on protected embassy facility in another sovereign nation a distance from Israel’s borders. It was a brazen and reckless aggression while Israel is carrying out genocide against starving Gazans including babies.

This editor would wish that Iran did not retaliate because escalating the genocide into a regional event is not good for the planet. Hopefully the US can offer some conciliation now – but it is unlikely after the high seas armament theft by US.
