Repression:

Students and faculty at Rutgers University organized a protest on Tuesday, December 17 starting at12:00PM. This protest was intended to highlight the demands o the student body and faculty unions for divestment from the Zionist project. The protest came after both major unions at Rutgers passed resolutions calling for divestment from Israel.

According to an admin from Perth Amboy for Palestine, the protesters attempted to disrupt a Rutgers Board of Governor’s meeting, but the protesters were kicked out. The police were very aggressive in shutting down student’s and faculty who wanted to make a point to the board of directors. This lead to a large protest outside of the Board of Governor’s meeting.
