South Orange – Maplewood Community Unites for Palestine in Weekly Vigil, Every Sunday 3pm to Sundown at Spiotta Park in South Orange – Next One Feb 4

SOMA (for Palestine has been working in earnest to support an cease fire and an end to the genocide in Palestine since October 2023.  (SOMA is an abbreviation for South Orange – Maplewood).)  One way the committee is rallying community support is a vigil each and every week, every Sunday at 3pm until Sundown in Spiotta Park.

The vigil demands an immediate cease fire, an end to US support for the genocide and freedom for the nation and people of Palestine.
