RUSA Passes 2 Bills Protecting Pro-Palestinian Speech and Opposing Anti-Palestinian, Muslim and Arab Racism – Bravo!
The student body successfully mobilized at the RUSA elections to encourage the passing of two bills defining Islamophobia and anti-Palestinian racism. In a crushing 15 to 3 vote, RUSA became THE FIRST STUDENT ASSEMBLY to adopt a definition of anti-Palestinian racism. We hope this will set a precedent for Universities across the nation and at Rutgers to address injustices against our movement and our allies.
