NJ Media: Why No Coverage of RU Intelligence Unit Directly Supporting Genocide and Domestic Repression?
Open Letter to NJ’s Editors and Journalists,
Has the free press already left the building in NJ? Is telling the truth about an insidious relationship between Rutgers, US and Israeli intelligence too much for NJ’s media outlets in the face of today’s IHRA climate? Rutgers has an intelligence division that leverages faculty and student effort to assist in creating findings documents that are being used to pursue Israel objectives. Rutgers was instrumental in developing primary findings used by the effort to ban TikTok over the way users leveraged the app to report and expose US – Israel depravity in its genocide actions. Now Rutgers is playing an insidious role developing smearing findings that are being used to promote repression against NJ’s Palestinian American Community Center and 18 other organizations – some with members and volunteers in NJ. Regardless of any reporter’s opinions on these matters, is NJ journalism taking a vow of silence when it comes to collaboration of NJ institutions like Rutghers University in direct support of genocide?
If NJ media is avoiding this story due to unawares of it – then that reason is solved. I am giving you the leads. Hopefully at least one outlet in NJ will take up the mission of telling NJ how our tax dollars are financing Rutgers support for genocide, censorship of TikTok and repression of NJ citizens and residents who oppose US and Israel policy in this regard.
Hopefully there are one or more in the NJ media milieu that is professional enough to assign resources to get the full story out there.
My attempt to break this story with who I thought was the rightful recipient of the scoop, the Rutgers Daily Targum, has failed. They rejected the information, quite cordially but without giving any reason why they would want to keep this story from the tuition paying students that fund the paper’s production. This editor wonders if they were told by the Rutgers Administration not to touch the story. That is what happens to free speech and free media when Rutgers pairs itself as a sister university with Tel Aviv University which is to its core dedicated to the Israeli war and genocidal mission. All of Rutgers collaboration with TAU is a direct connection to genocide.
I invite you to show otherwise. This story to my knowledge has not been covered anywhere in NJ aside from at FightBackBetter. I am at your service as you launch your investigation of this bombshell information.
