Protest @ L3Harris, From Hiroshima, to Nagasaki, to Gaza, Stop the War Machine! Aug 5, Clifton, NJ

On the 80th anniversary of the week of bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and during the continuing assault on Gaza, we are gathering to commemorate the anniversary and protest the manufacture of nuclear and conventional war components at the L3 Harris company facility in Clifton, NJ. L3 Harris is one of the largest military contractors and makes components for weapons systems, drones, and surveillance technology.

We will meet at the Clifton Commons Mall parking lot near the Barnes & Noble and then move to the side of the road in front of the L3 Harris sign.

People are encouraged to bring signs and banners calling for the company to cease making components for nuclear weapons and for the Israeli military. Afterwords we will march around the corner to the entrance of the facility to have a vigil and speakers.

This is a non-violent action. All participants should seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values, and maintain a safe environment off of the roadway.

Feel free to add an urgent call to action to action up top and any emojis and tags.
