NJ Sen. Kim: “I Didn’t Think” As He Aided ICE to Thwart Blockade
The following is a comment by Jay Arena, He captured a video of NJ Senator Andy Kim who showed up to a protest outside Delaney Hall in Newark NJ on Memorial Day. He and other politicians showed up in answer to community members who have been supporting a hunger strike by 300 captives at the ICE Delaney site. The illegally restrained Delaney captives are victims of the illegal Trump Administration’s war on NJ communities under fraudulent auspices of “immigration control.” Delaney Hall is being operated as a death camp with inedible food in inadequate portions, rout with worms and mold to overcrowded captives most of them having been completely denied their legal rights which Trump and his supporters do not believe anyone is entitled to. The captives are being subjected to depraved murderous affect and it is consistent with what is going on and has been reported in death camps under auspices of DHS across the nation. It is a a massive criminal conspiracy to deny people of this nation right to due process and to care in captivity – violations of international law also apply. Captives who have been fed inedible food with worms and mold – some of their lives have already been shortened by the inedible spoils served as food – a likely objective of the US illegal mass human restraint operations currently under way.
We should remember the poem here about the Nazis – first they came for this group and that group and nobody cared and now they come for us. Many supporters of this illegal policy of the Trump administration will suggest that if the immigrants did not want to be treated in this murderous way they never should have come here. But guess what – US GIs and sailors on US ships are also being starved to slow death and fed food with worms and mold. Those are the people MAGA crowd supposed to love and care about – floating around the Middle East awaiting for the call to action while being starved – trapped in their vessels for months on end in inhumane conditions not unlike the immigrants. Yes they come for the soldiers too!
In the video captured by Jay Arena he asks Senator Kim why he undermined the blockade and allowed ICE to conduct its kidnap and gulag transfer operation. As Jay Arena clearly stated, Senator Kim acted like a scab for ICE. Kim’s response “I didn’t think” is quite revealing.

HERE IS A TIP! If you are a politician -you should not come to the event and demand the bullhorn and pedestal and act like you are street commander. If you are there as a state operative – the role that Senator Kim played — do not come. Politicians attending events should be humble – quiet – be on the sidelines and not try to command or admonish. Basically – Senator Kim and the rest of you – if you are there to serve as a front for the police or ICE or to steer people away from directly challenging our oppression you are a state operator. If you are there to support you should not be trying to take over and direct the protesters. Senator Kim’s behavior dangles a big question mark over his head – why was he there and did he have an official State Department or US government assigned role outside his capacity as US Senator. This editor reminds readers that Senator Kim was one of very few US Senate Democrats that voted to approve Kristi Noem and on Memorial Day he wiped his eyes from the policy he played a role in unleashing on New Jersey and the nation with his Kristi Noem vote.
Don’t buy the hype on Andy Kim and the Democrats coming to the rescue at the Delaney Hall ICE concentration camp in Newark that the media and DP acolytes have been pushing about the momentous Memorial Day action. There has been a major upsurge in the struggle , with 300 detainees going on a hunger strike , raising an evolving list of demands that include an end to the deplorable conditions and due process. In standard practice ICE—-and let’s be honest, they did the same under the Dems — is working to break the strike by moving the leading activists to different parts of the gulag system . But the movement , led by courageous young activists , mounted a human blockade to prevent the ICE SUV and personnel carrier caravan from busting out of the camp to take the strike leader to another dungeon. Despite the intimidation of masked and heavily armed ICE paramilitaries, the movement had them penned in. Then the ‘friend ‘ of immigrants , the long time veteran of the national security state , genocide backer , aipac recipient , Andy Kim gets out there pleading with us to break the line , and that in exchange he and others would get to peek inside the ice caravan to accept ice’s promise that they were not taking anyone out. The movement told scab Kim to take a hike, and at that moment ICE used this diversion to launch an aggressive assault , pepper spray and all, that pushed back our fighters and allowed their caravan of death — think Pinochet chile — to break out….the Democrats have been coming by Delaney for photo ops, to posture as friends, but our movement, our determined resistance , exposed their real role… and as we discussed afterwards , the reason the Elizabeth and Newark concentration camps are even open is because of the Democrats , genocide Joe’s intervention to overturn the nj ban on private prisons , which none of the nj delegation , from Menendez jr—like his old man a killer backer of USA imperialism against Cuba and around the world —to uber Zionist Cory Booker, ever seriously fought back against … despite the traps set by the Democrats , the movement is advancing , now we have to go on the offensive , with escalating demands and actions , and ideally running our own candidates on our democratically arrived at program
