NJ Protest Against War on Iran Hours Before Trump Bombs Iran Directly

In one of the first protests in NJ against war with Iran, about 40 residents from Springfield NJ area communities were in front of the Tesla establishment on Rt. 22 in Springfield with messages opposing the pending US decision to join directly the aggressive war upon Iran. Hours later Trump bombed 3 nuclear plants in Iran and the world awaits what happens next.

The following is Mr. Farber’s comment on today’s protest:

“Events today highlight how urgent it is that we continue to protest this reckless war wherever and whenever possible. Our elected officials have learned nothing from our disastrous wars in the middle east, and are oblivious to all the negative consequences likely to unfold from here forward, both for Americans and the world at large. We must continue to pressure these officials to work to end all involvement in reckless wars.” – Tony Farber organizer of antiwar protest in Springfield NJ, June 21, 2025

Ths community organizers are encouraging a return to the same protest site next Saturday at noon – June 28 at the following location:

Location: Tesla 135 US-22 Springfield, NJ 07081

Mr. Farber offered this commentary as to how we can pressure NJ’s Congressional delegation to oppose war on Iran.

CORRECTION! It was initially reported that this was NJ’s first protest against war with Iran – but that had to be amended – there was at least one other and perhaps more – here is a picture from the weekly protest outside the Teaneck National Guard Armory – the vigil keepers there have relentlessly protested war, genocide and every injustice for decaides.
