ICE Numbers: Roxbury Deathhouse Will Enable Additional 50 – 180 K Removals Annually from NJ Area – It is Pogrom!
Recently Roxbury TAPInto ran a piece giving ICEs’ side of the whole issue. The Roxbury deathhouse is considered a “regional processing center.” This TAPInto quote is referring to information from a document provided by ICE.
The Regional Processing Centers will have “an average daily population of 1,000 to 1,500 detainees for average stays of 3–7 days,” says the document. “These will serve as staging locations for transfers or removals.”
The Roxbury TAPInto headline tells us what ICE is attempting to convey with the document they have shared by ICE with the TAPInto editor:
ICE: Roxbury Site Won’t Be ‘Warehouse’ for Detainees
Indeed that is total double think – it is a warehouse literally – and it is for detainees literally.
The article accepted without challenge the ICE contention indicating that it was a promo piece for ICE. It is clearly a misstatement of fact just based on the definition of the words..
The ICE intention of this distortion is to downplay the harms that will occur at the building. They want to make an industrial harm facility sound like a friendly layover stop.
Typically detainees are detained for anywhere from 48 hours to 90 days and some are detained for years. ICE has carried out its campaign of terror throughout the US with constant false proclamations and misstatements after each and every incident occurs. They have lied 1000s of times during the crackdown about everything and have gotten caught in lies in court numerous times. Any editor reporting a document from ICE or from those who are part of the ICE terror efforts needs to never accept their statements at face value. Of course immigrants and anyone else they bring to this facility – many will be held for longer than 3 – 7 days.
But let us just accept the 3 – 7 days estimate at face value and run some math equations.
The capacity of this warehouse for human victims is said to be from 1000 – 1500. Yet the warehouse is 4 times the size of the Delaney Hall facility which is said to have a capacity of about 1000. Indeed it is very possible that ICE will detain many more than 1000 – 1500 there. However, let us for now accept the ICE number and to go conservative.
First, using the numbers of 1000 detained and the length of stay in Roxbury of 3 days or 7 days, we will do both calculations to get a range of the number of removals ICE is planning through just this one facility based upon their numbers.
If the terror facility transfers detained harm victims out typically after 3 days, that would allow for 122 cycles of 1000 victims per year. If the time detained in Roxbury is closer to 7-day mark, that would allow for 52 cycles per year. Based upon ICE’s own numbers of detainee capacity and length of stay in Roxbury the Deathhouse would enable the removal of somewhere between 50 and 120 K people per year!
If we use the stated max capacity – we are talking 75 to 180K people a year!
Those fast and loose calculated numbers are rough for sure. They are indicative though as to what the US government has planned. They also still have the Elizabeth facility and Delaney Hall in Newark so that is not even the entire removal capacity.
The facilities will also be used for people from other states but also NJ folks will also be taken to facilities in other states so that might have some pressure on the total processing number one way or the other but the reality is just the Roxbury facility can expand removal capacity over and above what is currently happening in NJ and surrounding areas by 50 – 180 K!
What sort of pogrom has the US planned! That is the true reveal – as soon as this editor saw the TAPInto article it is what popped into my head – my GOD how many are they going to come for!
If the answer to our applying a simple math equation to the very information they provided by ICE is to state that they do not intend to remove that number per year – then they do not need the warehouse even if you agree with their purposes. If that is the case there is likely some corrupt purpose in the warehouse sales. In fact both can be true: they plan to bring tremendous harm to NJ and there is a lot of tax dollars being stuffed into the pockets of billionaire merchants of ICE harm against our own population.
Roxbury’s MAGA element that does not want the blood in their sewer line – with their ‘we love Trump and ICE – just not ICE’s warehouse’ contradictory construct – what they are saying is THEY WANT THE ABILITY TO COME FOR 180K people a year over and above current removals. They want the constant violence in our communities – people being harmed in reckless car chases and bullets flying even in Roxbury. They just do not want the blood in their sewers.
FightBackBetter is not motivated by blood in the sewer and water issues and crying over the loss of tax revenue.
But this editor urges everyone in this fight to center humanitarian reasons – opposition to terror and violence and militarization of our communities and the use of industrial sites to automate and mass produce harm for our citizens and residents. That motivation will keep us pinned in the urgency for our succesful struggle.
ICE is imposing terror infrastructure indicating a permanent state of war against our communities, adding Roxbury and possibly other sites, possibly sites on NJ military bases and inserting operations coordination centers including in Roseland, NJ – what does that tell us we need to do?
We as a people have the ability to prevail completely in this fight but it is an arduous process of constant evaluation of our understanding and our efforts and a thorough inclusive dialogue that seeks the best path to solutions.
The easy path of allowing politicians of either party with their competing political agendas to chart the course is probably the incorrect one.
But also those Democratic Party politicians who tell you they are with our fight and all we need to do is vote for them too are manipulating toward their agenda – if they want to be part of the fight let them humbly participate from the crowd and not force themselves to the pedestal. There is tremendous blame in both parties for our situation and any decisions that compromise our ability to asses our challenges are harmful.
Struggle forward!
