Kamala Coming for NJ Pro-Palestine Already?
On July 26, 2024, a NJ pro-Palestine advocate had an “investigator” or “special agent” of the Department of Homeland Security coming by their residence. The target of this investigation not being at the abode at the time led to the agents dropping this ominous door tag on the residency entrance way – affixed to the door handle.
The prior day, Kamala Harris in an apparent first duty as de facto president had issued a statement with inflammatory smearing, unsubstantiated and without supporting evidence, false accusations against the protesters of the July 24 Netanyahu led hate rally in the House chambers. Read more:
As this editor opined, Harris provided false pretext for involving government agencies including DHS with her false assertions of Hamas involvement and over blown reactions to the acts of a handful of protesters. It is quite possible the issues Kamala complained about were even caused by government or pro-Israel hired operatives acting to create false incidents to smear the protesters.
For their part, the protesters in DC on July 24 were subjected to mass punishment with tear gas spray and extensive other violent police actions. It is clear though that Harris the prosecutor has no intention of prosecuting her partner in genocide Netanyahu who actually faces an indictment for coordinating a genocide. No – she is coming for anyone that has any criticism to make of the Netanyahu genocide. With just a handful of notable exceptions nearly all members of the US Congress and the US Senate provided 70 – 90 standing ovations for Netanyahu’s comments which called for outright attacks on American citizens who criticize Israel (under similar pretense as the Harris July 25 smear memo).
Is this visit to a NJ pro-Palestine advocate [who happened to have been in DC protesting Netanyahu on July 24] tied to the Harris memo the day before? The answer is at this point unknown. The target of the investigator / agent visit has no intention of following up on the number provided by the DHS agent or investigator.
In addition to the Harris smear statement, a similar smear also likely intended to create false legal pretense to investigate and repress pro-Palestine advocacy was issued by Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines on July 9. The statement contains a massive amount of totally unsubstantiated suggestions of mayhem attempts by Iran to back Biden (probably now Harris) for President but also attempts to influence pro-Palestine activity in the US.
“As I noted in testimony to the Congress in May, Iran is becoming increasingly aggressive in their foreign influence efforts, seeking to stoke discord and undermine confidence in our democratic institutions, as we have seen them do in the past, including in prior election cycles. They continue to adapt their cyber and influence activities, using social media platforms and issuing threats. It is likely they will continue to rely on their intelligence services in these efforts, as well as Iran-based online influencers, to promote their narratives.
In recent weeks, Iranian government actors have sought to opportunistically take advantage of ongoing protests regarding the war in Gaza, using a playbook we’ve seen other actors use over the years. We have observed actors tied to Iran’s government posing as activists online, seeking to encourage protests, and even providing financial support to protesters.
I want to be clear that I know Americans who participate in protests are, in good faith, expressing their views on the conflict in Gaza – this intelligence does not indicate otherwise. Moreover, the freedom to express diverse views, when done peacefully, is essential to our democracy, but it is also important to warn of foreign actors who seek to exploit our debate for their own purposes.” – Harris Intelligent Boss Avril Haines
Her wording is clever – it does not broad brush smear the entire pro-Palestine effort but at the same time it creates pretext for agency and police and military involvement in investigating protected speech activity of US citizens and residents – as perhaps we now see here in NJ.
Fightbackbetter believes getting to the bottom of any effort to repress pro-Palestine efforts – in NJ or elsewhere – is an important news mission and we will continue to monitor these developments. At this time we are unaware of anyone else in NJ having been targeted in the days since the Harris Project 2024 Prosecute Pro-Palestine memo (our name for it – not the official name).
The recommendation of the activist that has received this door hang message though should be carefully considered. Do not talk to these agents. Consult an attorney if approached.

The introduction of the Harris – Haines false boogeyman stories about “Hamas” or “Iran” influence of pro-Palestine is intended to provide pretext for investigation and also sow division among our ranks. Their false narrative is being spread through media reporting and will also be repeated by those who support Harris for president. We need to stay unified around the demand to end genocide and not be goaded into mimickry of their phony accusations.
These attacks against our efforts are the result of the success of our struggle and our resilience. But it still can be bad news as lives can be ruined and people can be physically harmed even ultimately when the government makes false smears and scapegoats the population given their failings as the Harris-Biden administration apparently is doing.
Finally – everyone needs to recognize that everything being communicated under Meta, X , or other platforms – even if you think it is a “PM” – is collected and assume US and Israeli intelligence has it. Be alert and keep each other safe!
