Newark Cease Fire Action Request: Contact Council Member Rountree

“happy Valentine’s Day <3333 calling all my Newark folks!!!! Newark City Council is voting on a ceasefire resolution on 2/21 which is being introduced by Councilwoman Rountree. Rountree has since been ignoring our calls and emails with plans to water down our resolution. Newark Palestine Solidarity Coalition has proposed a radical resolution calling for a permanent ceasefire, end to the Israeli occupation, issuance of medical aid, food, and water, demanding the State of NJ cease the transfer of Newark tax payer dollars from its residents to the state of Israel, amongst many other things! We are asking that Newark residents call and email Rountree demanding the council’s resolution reflect the will of the people! This Valentine’s Day we are calling for a free Palestine!!”
