NJ Day of Action: Protect Palestinian Advocacy Mon. March 16, 11am – 4pm
Dear PACC Community, Our fight in protecting our first amendment rights to free speech is a priority we cannot ignore! On Monday, March 17th, PACC will take part in a day of action following Islamophobia Awareness Day in response to the racist bill that adopts the International Holocaust Remembrance Association’s definition of Antisemitism. The IHRA definition is harmful because it equates Anti-Zionism to Anti-Semitism. Our fight is not against Anti-Semitism, but with the censorship of Palestinian activism and those who express criticism of Israel. You can learn more about IHRA here. Please review and sign-up to help lead the legislative visits that day – We need a strong turnout to send a clear message to lawmakers that we will not stand by and allow our rights to be stripped away. Let’s work together to prevent bills A3558/S1292 from going to a vote in the NJ State Assembly.Register now!HOW CAN YOU GET INVOLVED?Be a district captain:We need district captains to help coordinate legislative visits locally.
